I’m constantly talking to students about adopting a “do stuff mentality.” Trying to take more of my own advice, I’ve been chasing more opportunities and taking more risks.
But putting yourself out there sometimes means facing more rejection.
It’s so easy to let pride creep in, isn’t it? I didn’t want it anyway, the mind tries to persuade. But if we listen hard enough, we may hear the heart whisper, Try, try again.
Allow time and place to be in your favor. Seek advice and support, learn something new each day, and keep on truckin’. Remember that you are good enough– or at least you will be.
If you want it, keep going and remain grateful. ”No” is a tough pill to swallow, but don’t confuse “no” with “never.”
